Usage Policy
Welcome to Arwad Virtual Clinic. By using our website or our approved contact channels, or by booking a consultation, you agree to the following usage policy.
Not an emergency service: in an emergency call 997 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Consultation by appointment: an online session with a licensed physician, after the booking is confirmed and paid.
Accurate information: the quality of the medical opinion depends on the accuracy of what you tell us.
Prescribing is a clinical decision: medicines and investigations are issued where there is a clinical reason.
1. Scope of the service
Arwad Virtual Clinic provides remote medical consultations delivered by licensed consultants and specialists across a range of fields, with a single purpose: caring for your health, your wellbeing, and your ability to go about daily life.
The clinic adds new service lines from time to time. The services available, what each one covers, and who it is for, are set out on the website. The service suits stable concerns that can be assessed and followed up remotely.
All of the clinic’s services are delivered remotely, and the clinic provides no in-person service. If the physician considers that your case requires an in-person clinical examination, they will advise you to attend a suitable healthcare facility, or refer you elsewhere.
2. Not an emergency service
This service is not a substitute for emergency care or an ambulance.
If you have chest pain, breathing difficulty, sudden weakness, altered consciousness, bleeding, or any symptom that threatens life, call 997 or go to the nearest emergency department immediately. Do not wait for your appointment.
3. Who uses the service, and accuracy of information
You agree to give accurate and complete information about the patient when booking, including identity, contact details, medical history, and current medicines.
If you are booking on behalf of a patient, state your relationship to them. The booking must be made with the patient’s knowledge, or under a legal guardianship.
Inaccurate information can lead to an unsuitable medical opinion, and the clinic may refuse or stop the service where it occurs.
4. During the consultation
Please join the session at the appointed time, from a quiet place with privacy and a suitable internet connection.
A family member or caregiver may attend with you. Tell the physician at the start of the session.
Neither party may record the session in audio or video without the other’s prior consent, and no part of it may be published.
The clinic may end a session where a user behaves abusively toward the physician or the team.
5. Prescriptions and investigations
A prescription is a decision of the physician and is issued where there is a clinical reason. Booking and paying for a consultation is not a commitment to prescribe any particular medicine.
Investigations and imaging are ordered where there is a clinical reason. How they are arranged and what they cost is explained at the time they are requested.
6. Content and intellectual property
Awareness content published on our website and channels is for health education only. It is not a diagnosis or a prescription, and it does not replace a consultation about your own case.
All text, images, trademarks and software on the website are the property of Arwad Company Commercial, and may not be copied or reused without prior written permission.
7. Limitation of liability
The clinic does what it can to deliver safe and accurate care through licensed physicians. Remote assessment nevertheless rests on what the patient describes and the information and documents they provide, and it has limits compared with an in-person clinical examination.
The clinic is not responsible for consequences arising from incomplete or incorrect information given by the user, from a failed connection caused by their device or network, or from a failure to follow the care plan or the referral recommended.
The clinic does not guarantee that the website or the platform will run without interruption at all times.
8. Changes and governing law
This policy may be updated. An update takes effect from the date it is published on the website, and your continued use of the service after that constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
This policy is governed by the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the courts of the Kingdom have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it.
