Associate Professor at the College of Medicine, King Saud University, with Canadian fellowship training in both internal medicine and geriatric medicine and more than fifteen years caring for older adults. Director General of Home Health Care at the Ministry of Health from 2021 to 2026, where he led the national home care programme. Founder of the Age-Friendly Health Facilities initiative and author of more than thirty-four peer-reviewed papers on dementia, healthy ageing and frailty.

Adjunct faculty at Alfaisal University. He has led national initiatives on dementia, falls and ageing, and contributed to clinical policy, education and media outreach across Saudi Arabia. Head of the Geriatric Medicine Division at Prince Sultan Military Medical City in Riyadh, where he has trained and practised since 2017 and founded the long-term care unit within internal medicine in 2020. Saudi Board certified in internal medicine, with fellowship training in geriatric medicine at the University of Ottawa. He sits on the hospital's long-term patients committee, and presented work on the five medicines most associated with falls in older adults at the University of Ottawa's Medicine Research Day.
