Questions
The questions people ask before they book.
Is this right for me?
What can be handled in a virtual appointment?
Stable concerns that are clinically suitable for remote care: medicines, memory, mood, mobility and balance, nutrition, sleep and everyday function. Your doctor may recommend an in-person assessment or additional tests when needed.
What if I am not sure whether it suits me?
Book an initial suitability consultation. We review your health needs briefly and guide you to the most suitable consultation or care pathway.
What should I do in an emergency?
Do not use this service. Go to the nearest emergency department or call 997.
The appointment
Can a family member join?
Yes. A family member or carer is welcome in the appointment, and one is included in the price of every consultation.
Which language will the appointment be in?
Arabic or English, whichever you prefer. Tell us when you request the appointment.
Paying
When do I pay?
After a doctor has reviewed your request and confirmed the appointment. We send a secure link; nothing is taken before that.
What is included in the price?
The consultation, a written care plan within two working days, a review of your file and medicines before the appointment, and a family member present if you want one.
What is not included?
Tests, scans, medicines and referrals. We arrange them, and you pay the provider directly.
Afterwards
Will I be prescribed medicine?
Where it is clinically appropriate. Any prescription or change to your medicines follows the doctor's assessment and the safety requirements for virtual care, and may need tests or an in-person review first.
Will tests be ordered?
Only when there is a clear clinical reason, and after discussing it with you. Our review is guided by current scientific evidence and recognised best practice.
